I just got back from a fun and exciting trip to Puerto Rico. I went there with some friends to do a dirt jump demo at this bike festival put on by Medalla Light. The last time I went to Puerto Rico, it was insanely hot and humid so I was stoked to get off the plane to feel it wasn't as hot.

I went there with my friends Tyler Mccaul, Alex Reveles, and Andrew Taylor so it was more like a vacation. We were picked up by my friend Pedro who lives in San Juan and has a bunch of cool jumps and a foam pit. After showing us around town a bit and checking out the night life of San Juan, we rode at Pedro's house for a bit and practiced some tricks in the foam pit for the demo.

We then drove 3 hours to the other side of the island to a town called Rincon where the festival was held. We were immediately greeted by the locals with some beer and lots of fun night life. What else would you expect from a festival that is put on by a beer company.

The next day we spent some time at the beach and checked out the town before practicing on the demo jumps. the jumps were fun, but it was just a straight 6 pack, so we didnt really need to practice much before throwing down some sweet maneuvers! The next day was the demo, and the weather was really hot and humid. The wind also picked up a lot, but that didnt stop us from puttin' on a great show.

The crowd was pumped just to see us jump through the set. The second demo was a bit better because the wind died down and everyone pulled out some more impressive tricks. After completing the demo and signing some autographs, we enjoyed the festival and all of the after parties that followed.

The next day we just chilled on the beach for a bit before heading back to San Juan to catch a flight back home. the demo was cool, but the whole trip felt more like a vacation. It was a pretty sweet deal to get a free vacation with 3 of my friends to one of the funnest places I have ever been. I am definitely going back for a real vacation sometime.
